Job Summary:
Cardiac Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) at a healthcare facility in Clyde, North Carolina. This position involves providing specialized cardiac care to adult patients, including post-cardiac catheterization, cardioversions, and telemetry monitoring. Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in North Carolina, minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and experience in step-down or intensive care units.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a progressive care setting with cardiac patients, strong communication skills, team-oriented personality, and flexibility.
  • Additional Information: The facility is a community hospital with 22 beds dedicated to cardiac patient care. The unit maintains a patient ratio of 4:1 and utilizes telemetry monitoring systems. The environment emphasizes teamwork, good communication, and patient-centered care.
