Job Summary Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Wyandotte, MI This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a specialized acute care setting. The RN supervises licensed practical nurses,-certified nursing assistants, and orientees while ensuring the delivery of safe, patient-centered care aligned with hospital and nursing standards.
Job Details
Certifications/Education/Experience Requirements: BLS Certification required prior to first shift. ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH only). Minimum of two (2) years bedside clinical experience.
Location: Wyandotte, MI
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission, develops individualized plans of care, and participates in patient rehabilitation routines. Responsible for accurate documentation and effective communication of patient status changes. Initiates discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission. Provides supervision to ancillary nursing staff, ensures safety standards, and participates in team activities to foster a positive work environment. Assumes charge responsibilities following orientation and pursues ongoing professional development.
