Job Summary
The organization is seeking a qualified Step Down Unit (SDU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a healthcare facility in the east float pool. This position involves 36-hour weekly shifts, scheduled during nights, with rotating days off. The RN will provide specialized patient care within the step-down unit environment, ensuring quality treatment and adherence to hospital protocols. The contract duration is approximately 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN (Registered Nurse) license, a minimum of 2 years experience in a step-down or similar specialty, experience with Epic electronic health record system, travel experience preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a hospital float pool and SDU, proficiency with Epic documentation system
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: All assignments are 36 hours per week, 3x12 shifts, with every other weekend scheduled off unless noted otherwise. All candidates must have at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience, and experience with Epic is required. The assignment start date is 10/12/2026, with completion expected by 01/09/2027.
