Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC). The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care while adhering to established protocols and practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the IMC environment.
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition.
• Perform telemetric evaluations and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Manage and treat dysrhythmias according to clinical guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Document patient care and interventions utilizing Cerner charting.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Float to other units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed based on census fluctuations.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in PCU, DOU, IMC, or Stepdown units.
• Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias.

Work Schedule

• 3x12 Hour Day Shifts (07:00 - 19:30)
• Weekend Shifts: 10 shifts per contract

Additional Information

• Scrubs not provided; navy blue/white attire required.
• All employees are required to have the Flu vaccine.
