Job Summary Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse in en_US celebrates the opportunity to provide specialized patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for postoperative open heart, critical care, and cardiopulmonary patients, using age-specific criteria to ensure optimal outcomes.
Job Details
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Current Ohio/OH or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; no minimum years of experience required; experience with post-operative open heart care, critical care, chest tube and drain management, pre- and post-procedure care for radial and femoral access patients, cardiac monitoring, and handling of specific procedures and equipment.
Additional job responsibilities include assessing patient needs, providing post-operative and pre-operative care, monitoring cardiac rhythms, managing oxygen therapy devices, and floating across units within skill levels.
Submission requirements: Skills checklist relevant to progressive care, active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications, and a current Ohio/OH or Compact RN license.
