Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS and BLS required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU / Telemetry nursing experience required
• Recent Epic EHR experience required
• Recent phlebotomy experience required
• Ability to draw blood and start / maintain IVs
• Experience with heparin drips, blood product administration, and EKG interpretation
• Ability to recognize and respond to rhythm changes confidently
• Flexibility to float as needed
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
• At least 1 year of experience is required if not otherwise specified

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac progressive care and telemetry patients
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status throughout the shift
• Manage CHF-focused patient care with attention to changing cardiac conditions
• Administer medications, blood products, and heparin infusions safely and accurately
• Perform phlebotomy, establish IV access, and maintain IV therapy
• Interpret EKGs and identify rhythm changes promptly
• Collaborate closely with the care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Adapt to floating assignments as required by unit needs
