Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent progressive care, telemetry, step-down, or acute care nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong advanced assessment and critical thinking skills
• Experience managing vasoactive drips
• Ability to support bedside shift report, hourly rounding, and daily leadership rounds
• Positive attitude and a team-focused approach in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to progressive care patients with varying acuity levels
• Monitor patients receiving BiPAP, heated high-flow nasal cannula, and IV infusions
• Manage vasoactive drips and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Assist with and maintain competency in procedures such as central line or PICC line placement and chest tube management
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary clinical team to support optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit standards of care
• Deliver patient-centered care while supporting unit flow, safety, and teamwork
