Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke certification / NIHSS required
• Dysrhythmia exam required
• Neuro/stroke experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process from assessment through evaluation
• Monitor and manage patients requiring stepdown-level and progressive care, including cardiac drips and hemodynamic monitoring
• Administer medications safely and in accordance with clinical standards, policies, and best practices
• Respond effectively to changing patient conditions and prioritize care based on acuity
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient-centered care
• Support patients and families through education, advocacy, and compassionate communication
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety, privacy, and infection control practices
• Contribute to a professional, supportive, and high-performing clinical environment
