Compensation & Schedule Details

• Hours & Shift: 36 hours per week (12-hour Nights, 1900–0730)
• Contract Length: Travel contract
• Target Start Date: September 3, 2026 (or ASAP per onboarding)
• Scheduling: Self-scheduling permitted; block scheduling accommodated if unit needs are met. Weekend requirement is every other weekend (defined as Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon for nights). Holiday rotation required.

Key Facility Policies & Floating Rules

• Submission Requirement: A copy of the candidate's unexpired driver's license is required at the time of submittal.
• Floating: Included in the float rotation across the hospital, including ICU (rare) and Stepdown, assigned strictly within the nurse's skillset.
• Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs and approved scrub jackets only (no hoodies or sweat-jackets).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Licensure: Active West Virginia (WV) RN license or compact state license.
• Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS are both required.
• Clinical Skills: Must be comfortable reading cardiac strips and managing cardiac tele patients (post-heart caths, TR bands, CHF, COPD, post-pacers, arrhythmias). Must be able to titrate Heparin (and occasionally Lasix/Bumex; Cardizem and Amiodarone are set-rate). Patient ratios average 1:5 (flexing up to 1:6).
