Job Details
Position: RN - Step Down
Unit Focus: High-acuity, heavily cardiac-focused Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Certifications, Education, and Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent cardiac unit experience, with experience in cardiac drips such as Insulin, Milrinone, Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Heparin, Lasix, Nitroglycerin; capable of independently interpreting cardiac rhythms and passing a Dysrhythmia Exam on the first attempt.
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Requirements: EPIC experience, ACLS certification, ability to interpret cardiac rhythms accurately, experience with procedures such as heart catheterizations, pacemakers, ICDs, and ablations.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Submission Instructions: Candidates will be interviewed by a nurse manager and must meet specific competency standards including a proctored, paper-based telemetry exam utilizing calipers.
