We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a 3x12-hour night shift position caring for patients requiring close monitoring and intermediate-level care. The ideal candidate will have strong PCU and telemetry experience and be flexible to float to units with the same or lower level of acuity as needed.
Schedule:
3x12-Hour Night Shifts
Weekdays and some weekends
Rotating holidays
Floating required to equivalent or lower acuity units based on staffing needs
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience
Previous travel nursing experience preferred
Epic EMR experience required
Certifications Required:
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
Required Skills:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing
Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
IV insertion and management
Medication administration
Cardiac and respiratory assessment
Care of patients requiring continuous monitoring
Rapid recognition of patient deterioration
Accurate documentation in Epic
