Job Summary:
Step Down Unit Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role involves providing acute patient care in a specialized step down setting, with an emphasis on adult and geriatric patient populations. The nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality care during night shifts, ensuring patient stabilization and recovery.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Epic EMR experience within the last year, with notation of the facility used; Manager reference; BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications; At least 1 year of clinical experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a teaching facility; strong IV skills; previous float area experience (Tele, Stepdown, ICU)
  • Additional Information: Completion of required Healthstream modules prior to orientation, estimated at 2 hours; must be willing to float to various units; first to float during shifts; four shifts in a four-week span; holiday shifts based on needs; cancellation policy of one shift every 14 days
