Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

The Flex Pool Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing nursing care across various medical and surgical units. This is a night shift position requiring the ability to work 12-hour shifts.

Shift Information

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 1845 to 0715, with a commitment of 36 hours per week following an initial orientation week. Please note that there is no guarantee of hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• Active State of Hawaii nursing license is mandatory prior to starting the assignment
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (Preferred: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC)

Essential Responsibilities

• Float between various medical and surgical units as needed
• Care for patients following plan procedures including but not limited to Medical Units, Laulima Units, and Cardiovascular Units

Unit Information

• Medical Unit: 77 beds, Nurse to patient ratio of 1:6 for days/evenings and 1:8 for nights
• Laulima Unit: 18 beds, Nurse to patient ratio of 1:6
• Cardiovascular Unit: 15 beds, Nurse to patient ratio of 1:4

Orientation and Training

Orientation will be provided for each unit where the nurse will be assigned.

Dress Code

Professional nursing attire, including clean scrubs, is required.
