First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Meriden, Connecticut.

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Night Shift

  • Schedule: NOC / Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00 – 07:00 | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week
  • On-Call Protocol: No on-call duties required.

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Core PCU Experience Requirement [CRITICAL HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2 years of full-time, dedicated PCU experience in an acute care setting.
    • Note: Floating experience to PCU or standalone Telemetry/Med-Surg experience WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Candidate must have staff or travel history dedicated specifically to PCU/Stepdown.
  • Submission Packet Mandate: Completed PCU Skills Checklist required along with standard agency submission packet.
  • EMR Requirement: Prior clinical proficiency with Epic EMR is required.
  • Licensure & Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
    • Active State RN License.
    • Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
    • Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
    • Active NIHSS (Stroke Certification).
