- Schedule Expectations: Every other weekend and holiday
- Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients with progressive care needs
- Work Setting: Inpatient progressive care / stepdown unit

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or compact licensure eligibility
- At least 2 years of recent RN experience required
- Prior acute care hospital experience strongly preferred
- BLS and ACLS required
- NIHSS certification required
- Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation required
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to recognize early signs of patient deterioration
- Experience with cardiac drips, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced respiratory support preferred
- Ability to float to Med/Surg and Telemetry units as needed
- Comfort working in a high-acuity progressive care environment with changing priorities
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care using the nursing process from assessment through evaluation
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition with sound clinical judgment
- Administer medications safely and in accordance with policies and best practices
- Manage patients with complex medical needs, including CHF, COPD, sepsis, GI bleeds, STEMI, respiratory failure, and more
- Interpret telemetry rhythms and collaborate with the care team on timely interventions
- Provide patient and family education to support understanding and recovery
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members to promote safe, efficient outcomes
- Support patient safety, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice
- Float to Med/Surg and Telemetry units as staffing needs require
- Maintain a calm, professional presence in a fast-paced progressive care setting
