Orientation Date(s): 10/12
HOLIDAY update: unless the Unit is closed, your contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- 24 months minimum of experience in Telemetry/Cardiac, Stepdown, or Progressive Care experience [required]
- Experience with the following patient populations: ICD (implantable cardioverter-defibrillator) & Pacemaker [required]
- Experience caring for CABG (coronary arterial bypass grafting) & vascular surgical patients [required[
- No 1st time travelers accepted -- must have completed at least '1' travel contract within the previous 18 months
- Cardiac Rhythm experience [required]
- EPIC emr experience [required]
- Equipment experience: Alaris IV pump, wound vac[ required]
- Cardiac Drip/titration experience [required]
- Level I Trauma experience [highly preferred]
- Level II trauma experience [required]
PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:
- Work history/resume/employment history must have 24 months of current Telemetry/Cardiac, Stepdown, or Progressive Care experience [required]
- Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (Telemetry/Cardiac, Stepdown, or Progressive Care) – [required]
- Nursys must state Active Iowa license/multistate/multi-state at time of submission – [required] [document]
- Professional Reference/Reference Check - charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of today's date [preferred]
- Driver’s License [document] [required]
- AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS – [required]
- AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS ACLS – [required]
