Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Olathe, Kansas.
Experience Requirements: 2 years of recent Critical Care/ICU or Emergency Department experience (looking for candidates with strong critical thinking skills), Experience with BiPAP, chest tubes, PICC lines, and drawing their own labs, Comfortable without a vascular access team, calling on own consults, and conducting own codes, Open-heart Day 2 or Day 3 experience with pacer wires (patient ratios are 3:1 or 4:1 tops) License/ Certification Requirements: KS RN or Compact RN License along with BLS, ACLS, & NIH
Floating Requirements: Will be expected to float to ICU and all inpatient units- Med/surge, Med/tele, Acute/tele, and ED with prior experience Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend Required On-Call Requirements: None Holiday Requirement: Based on unit needs, travelers must work one holiday from each group: Thanksgiving Day or Black Friday | Christmas Eve or Day | New Year’s Eve or Day (managers have been approving 2 major holidays if 3 is a deal breaker)
Notes: TUKHS is a nicotine-free facility | 8 hours non-billable orientation | Current EMR is EPIC | TUKHS is a nicotine-free facility | Bi-weekly pay period | Client is allowed the cancellation of one shift per 2-week pay period at no cost to the client and no pay to the employee. Will provide a minimum 2-hour notice via Smart Square.
