PCU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

Seeking a skilled PCU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support within a progressive care unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in health status.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and families about health management and care plans.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse with proficiency in IV start.
  • Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are required.
  • Experience with Meditech charting is necessary.
  • Willingness to float to meet facility needs.

Shift Details

  • Night shifts of 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00).
  • Weekend rotation required.

Additional Information

  • Guaranteed hours: 40 hours/week.
  • Any request for time off (RTO) must be approved and documented before the start of the assignment.
  • Scrub colors: Any color; scrubs for OR/L&D/Cath Lab will be provided.
  • Parking is available at no cost.

Location

Position based in a Level 3 Trauma acute care facility. Located in a vibrant community known for its support of healthcare professionals.
