Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

The role of Registered Nurse in the Acute Neuroscience Unit involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will engage with patients, assess their health needs, and implement care plans effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and record patient vital signs and health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with medical teams to develop and execute patient care plans.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and recovery processes.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a progressive care or neuroscience setting.
• Proficiency in using EPIC electronic health record system is required.
• Must be available for every other weekend and two holidays during the contract period.

Schedule

This position requires a commitment to a 3x12 hour day shift, with hours from 07:00 to 19:00.
