Job Summary: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurses in the area are needed to provide specialized nursing care to patients with a variety of acute or chronic conditions requiring close monitoring and assessment. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification, 0 or more years of clinical experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certification preferred
Additional Information: The nurse will perform assessments, formulate and revise care plans, provide direct patient care, delegate and supervise activities of team members, evaluate patient responses, document all nursing actions accurately, and participate in unit or facility quality improvement initiatives. The position may involve supervising staff and working within various team and external stakeholder interactions.
