Job Summary: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurses are responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring and interventions. This position involves assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a hospital setting.
Job Details:
Position Description: This role assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice. It requires specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to deliver appropriate care based on patient data, physical and developmental age, and medical plans.
Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse license in the state of practice, BLS certification, and recent clinical experience in an acute care setting. Experience in the specified specialty or comparable experience is preferred.
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: May be required to float to a sister site depending on census and staffing needs; performs all functions per established policies and standards.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must possess or be eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in the practice state and comply with all certification requirements.
