Hours:6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Shift length: 12.5 hours
Contract: 13 weeks
⚕️ Main Responsibilities
The RN will:
Provide direct nursing care according to hospital policies and protocols.
Continuously monitor high-acuity patients.
Use advanced equipment such as:
Ventilators
Cardiac monitors
Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments.
Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions and emergencies.
Maintain accurate patient documentation.
Collaborate with:
Physicians
Respiratory therapists
Other healthcare professionals
Develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate and provide emotional support to patients and families.
Follow infection-control procedures.
Participate in continuing education.
Be willing to precept other staff.
Required Certifications
Registered Nurse (Compact)
BLS
ACLS
