Job Details
Position Description: RATIO: 4:1 on Progressive Care Unit (PCU) patients. SHIFT: Days, every other weekend and holidays. Overtime available, with flexible scheduling options to accommodate preferences. ACUITY: Fluctuates with a wide variety of cardiac and respiratory patients.
Required Qualifications: Illinois Registered Nurse license, current CPR/BLS Card, ACLS, NIHSS certification is required, plus 0 years of experience.
Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: The position involves assessing patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs, developing and evaluating individual care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The role requires using nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report patient condition changes and maintaining accurate medical records. Floating to ICU may be required, and the manager is accessible for support.
