Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, specifically within Stepdown and Telemetry units, while demonstrating the ability to adapt to the varying acuity of patients.
This position offers both 3x12 and 4x12 hour shifts, primarily during weekdays, with some weekend coverage required. Block schedules for weekend shifts may be considered.
The Stepdown unit treats patients requiring close monitoring and intervention, often having conditions that would be managed in a Progressive Care or Telemetry unit within larger facilities. Acuity levels may vary significantly, requiring strong assessment skills and adaptability.
Scrubs are to be provided by the nurse, with specified colors being burgundy and/or white.
