Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown Cardiac

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Stepdown Cardiac unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cardiac care and have experience working with patients in a stepdown environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the cardiac stepdown unit.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, making critical decisions based on clinical judgement.
  • Administer medications and perform treatments according to care plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on disease processes and care plans.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR.
  • Current AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required.
  • Successful completion of medication and arrhythmia examinations.

Shift Details:

This position is for the night shift, consisting of 4 twelve-hour shifts per week, from 19:00 to 07:30.
