Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a step-down/med-surg overflow position. This role requires a strong background in neuro care within a Level I trauma environment.

Job Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: Days (3x12-hour shifts, 07:00 - 19:00)
• Weekly Hours: 36 or 48 hours, schedule may change based on staffing needs

Patient Care Ratios

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:12 as part of a team nursing approach, which includes:

• 2 Registered Nurses (RNs)
• 2 Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)
• Medication Nurse
• Charge Nurse

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience in a similar environment
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center is required
• Prior travel nursing experience is necessary
• Experience in large hospital settings is preferred
• All candidates must have a valid nursing license in compliance with NLC guidelines

Schedule Requirements

• Rotation for weekends and on-calls as needed
• No block scheduling; however, weekend blocks may be considered
• Local candidates are not accepted; a 100-mile radius rule applies
