Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Willingboro, New Jersey. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care in a specialized unit, supervising and collaborating with healthcare team members, and supporting patient recovery and safety. The position offers a night shift schedule with a minimum of 48 hours per week.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift. Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification prior to first shift (CIRH only). A minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Progressive Care Unit, strong understanding of nursing assessment, patient education, and discharge planning.
  • Behavior Characteristics: Demonstrates professionalism, effective communication, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude.
  • Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops and implements individualized plans of care, initiates discharge planning, and ensures proper documentation. Responsibilities include supervising ancillary staff, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and participating in team-building activities. The RN may assume charge responsibility after orientation.
