## Travel Med/Surg – PCU Registered Nurse (RN) | Newport, VT

Join a dedicated healthcare team as a **Travel Med/Surg–PCU Registered Nurse** for a **13-week Quick Start assignment**. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced RN who is comfortable working in a **Critical Access Hospital**, providing high-quality patient care while serving as a Charge Nurse when needed.

**Location:** Newport, Vermont
**Contract Length:** 13 Weeks
**Shift:** Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every Other Weekend
**Specialty:** Med/Surg • PCU • Telemetry RN

### Requirements

✔ Active RN License of VT or NLC
✔ Minimum *5* Years of Med/Surg, PCU, or Telemetry Experience**
✔ Current AHA BLS Certification
✔ Current ACLS Certification
✔ Experience with **Cerner EMR** preferred
✔ Ability to Work Independently and Perform Charge Nurse Duties
✔ Willingness to Float to Other Units as Needed

### Responsibilities

* Provide comprehensive nursing care to Medical-Surgical, Progressive Care, and Telemetry patients.
* Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient conditions.
* Function as Charge Nurse when required and support unit operations.
* Float to other departments based on patient census and staffing needs.
* Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation using **Cerner EMR**.
* Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based patient care in a Critical Access Hospital setting.
