Here’s your chance to make a positive impact while working with a dedicated team of professionals. #### Why You’ll Love Working With Us: - **Location:** Brevard, NC – enjoy the beauty and outdoor activities of the Appalachian region! - **Innovative Care:** Be a part of a leading healthcare facility recognized for top-notch patient care and safety! - **Collaborative Environment:** Work closely with doctors, pharmacists, and therapists in a team-based care model. - **Comprehensive Team:** Join a skilled staff of over 40+ professionals in a 30-bed unit that caters to diverse patient needs. #### What We Offer: - **Patient Ratios:** - SD/ICU 2-4:1 - Med-Surg: 5-6:1 - **State-of-the-Art Equipment:** Utilize advanced IV pumps, SCDs, Nova Stat glucometer, wound vacs, Baxter feeding pumps, and more! - **EMR System:** Work with Cerner for efficient patient record management. #### Your Role: - Provide top-quality nursing care in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. - Perform essential procedures including: - IV starts, CVL, and arterial lines - Foley catheters - EKG monitoring - Wound care - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to discuss patient care, treatments, and discharge needs. #### Ideal Candidates: - Must have the following certifications: - BLS and ACLS (completed prior to the end of orientation for RNs) - BLS for PCT/NAs - Preferred Skills: - ICU/Stepdown experience for RNs - At least one year of med/surg experience - Personal Attributes: - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting - Eagerness to learn and adapt to diverse patient care #### Dress Code: - Nurses: Navy blue scrubs - NAs: Galaxy/royal blue scrubs #### Additional Information: - Weekend rotation: 3 shifts on Monday and Friday every 6 weeks. - Holidays as per staffing matrix.
