Travel Nurse RN - PCU / Stepdown - $2,250 per week in Torrance, CA

**Job Title: PCU/Stepdown • Registered Nurse • Nights**

Join our team in Torrance, CA, as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Stepdown for night shifts. Provide exceptional care in a dynamic environment.

**Responsibilities:**

• Deliver intermediate care for patients needing more than general medical•surgical support but less than ICU.
• Monitor patients, including cardiac telemetry and vital signs, and respond rapidly to changes.
• Administer medications, IVs, wound care, and pain management.
• Support patients post•surgery or transitioning from ICU.

**Qualifications:**

• 1+ year of recent PCU experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Active CA RN License.
• Required: AHA BLS, MAB/CPI, LA City Fire Card, Life Safety card.
• COVID•19 vaccination and booster.
• Thrive in high•acuity, fast•paced settings.

**Shift Details:**

• Night shifts, 36 hours/week.
• 8•week assignment.

**Additional Information:**

• No float/on•call duties.
• RTO not accepted.
• Travel experience preferred; local travelers welcome.
