Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care on an adaptive acuity PCU unit, adjusting to med-surg and telemetry needs
- Manage IV drips safely and effectively, including insulin, esmolol and sodium drips
- Monitor and interpret telemetry and patient status, intervening promptly when changes occur
- Float between inpatient units as needed while practicing within your scope to support unit staffing
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including hospitalists and specialty clinics, to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure continuity of care during shift handoffs
- Support unit-level quality and safety initiatives and participate in required orientation and competency checks
