Job Title: CVPICU RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVPICU Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in specific specialty License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: Pediatric experience, travel experience preferred Description: CVPICU RN for night shift. This position includes a requirement to float to PICU as needed. Candidates must have pediatric experience. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required. Travel experience is highly preferred. The role includes working with neonates, infants, and adult patients with cardiac disease. Candidates will care for intubated and ventilated patients. Experience with inotropes and vasoactive medications is essential. Skills in managing central lines, arterial lines, and PIVs for standard care in CLABSI reduction are required. Exposure to Berlin and Heartmate devices may be involved. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2, with the ability to transfer and admit patients within the same shift. References must be provided from a supervisor within the past 2 years. Candidates will be required to complete an additional background check and fingerprinting onsite on their first day.
