Job Title: Pediatric Cardiac ICU Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVPICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day and Night rotation Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Pediatric Cardiac ICU/CVICU/CICU required; First-timers not accepted. License: Permanent License required, no exceptions. Certifications: PALS, BLS required. Must-Have: Experience with critical care of children and adults with congenital heart disease. Ability to float to MSICU, MICU, NICU, ACCU as needed. Willingness to work 3 of 6 weekends. Description: This position is for a Pediatric Cardiac ICU Nurse specializing in providing critical care to patients with congenital heart disease. Experience in a Pediatric Cardiac ICU, CVICU, or similar settings is essential. The nurse will be required to work a 50/50 rotation, with the possibility of straight nights, depending on the schedule. We require the ability to handle a patient ratio conducive to excellent care standards. A commitment to teamwork and the ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary support staff is necessary. Must have strong clinical skills and knowledge related to congenital heart diseases and repairs. Float to various ICU settings is part of the position. Candidates should expect a dynamic work environment with diverse patient needs.
