Job Title: CVPICU RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVPICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day and Night shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent dedicated CVPICU experience, floating experience will not count. License: Active state license required prior to start. Certifications: BLS, PALS required. Must-Have: - Cardiac training - Willingness to rotate shifts every 3-4 weeks - Availability for every other weekend and every other holiday Description: This position requires an experienced registered nurse with specialized training in pediatric cardiovascular intensive care. The nurse will be responsible for providing critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The nurse must have experience with a patient ratio of 1:2. Candidates are expected to float to other critical care units as needed. Self-scheduling is an option based on unit needs and staffing levels. The facility aims to accommodate shift preferences but cannot guarantee fixed schedules. All staff must comply with required vaccinations with no exemptions. Successful candidates must provide a photo upon contract signing. The unit provides interdisciplinary support including respiratory services and physical therapy. Work will include the management of various critical care procedures and patient assessments.
