**Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team as a Registered Nurse!**
**Job Description:**
- Position: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (ED RN)
- Shift: 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of patients:
- Newborns, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatrics
- Embrace challenges and provide crucial care for patients with:
- Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, Myocardial Infarction, Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failure
- Work with cutting-edge specialty equipment:
- Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun
- Join a 64-bed unit with:
- 2 Triage beds, 40 Acute beds, 6 Super Track beds, 2 Trauma beds, 10 CDU beds, 6 Psych beds
- Collaborate with a talented team and take on a charge nurse role (highly preferred)
- Flexibility to float as needed across the unit
**Candidate Requirements:**
- Must reside 75 miles away from the facility (travelers welcome)
- Local candidates (under 75 miles) accepted
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Department nursing with pediatric experience
- Proven travel experience required
- Up-to-date skills checklist matching specialty
- Valid driver's license with matching address
- Current certifications:
- AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
- Active NY Nursing license (NURSYS Report for verification)
- Include RTO (Requests Time Off) at submission
- Experience with EMR: EPIC is required
**Commonly Required Drips & Medications:**
- Pressors: Levophed, Neo, Epi, Vasopressin, Dobutamine, Dopamine
- Vasodilators: Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG
- Anti-arrhythmics: Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lidocaine
- Sedation: Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl
- Other: TNK, Heparin, Insulin
