The unit includes general care beds, critical care beds, urgent care beds, and a trauma bay shared with adult services. Staff members are trained to function in a fast-paced and challenging environment, managing cases from treat-and-release to acute critical care/trauma. Burn care experience is highly desirable. The following certifications are required: BLS, PALS, and ACLS. TNCC, ATCN, or ABLS certifications are preferred.
