Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team as a Registered Nurse!
Position: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (flexible scheduling options available)
Unit: Emergency Department
Patient Care: Treat a diverse range of patients including Newborns, Pediatrics, Adults, and Geriatrics.
Common Diagnoses: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, Myocardial Infarction, Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failure.
Specialty Equipment: Work with Rapid Infusors and Arctic Sun technology.
Unit Composition: 64 beds total, including 2 Triage, 40 Acute, 6 Super Track, 2 Trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 Psych beds.
Floating Opportunities: Engage with various departments as needed.
Charge Capability: Highly preferred for experienced candidates.
Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in Emergency Department nursing with Pediatric experience.
Documented travel nursing experience.
Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (must be in hand).
Active New York RN license and all RN licenses verified via NURSYS.
Experience with EMR: EPIC required.
Willingness to provide care to all assigned patients, including SANE cases.
