Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. Key Responsibilities of the RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care- Perform spinal taps and titrate critical drips including sedation, vasoactive, and paralytic drips
- Conduct sedated MRIs, EKG/EEG/Telemetry, and Port Access & Discontinuation
- Manage intubation/extubation procedures
- Provide high-level nursing care with a 1:1-2 patient ratio using Alaris IV pumps, Bair hugger, and ventilators
- Utilize Meditech for electronic medical records (EMR)
Requirements of the RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care- Valid RN license
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum of 1 year pediatric ICU nursing experience
- Ability to float to NICU or Ob/GYN if qualified
