Registered Nurse – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (Float)

Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: 1001 Johnson Ferry Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30342
Schedule: Days | 3 × 12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week | Every Other Weekend

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Pediatric Float ICU Registered Nurse to provide care across multiple pediatric critical care and specialty units.

Key Responsibilities

• Float between two campuses: AMBH and SR.

• Provide coverage across PICU, NICU, TDICU, CICU, as well as general care and specialty areas as needed.

• Manage a typical patient ratio of 2–3:1.

• Work every other weekend as required.

• Make up any missed shifts during the assignment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent PICU or Pediatric CICU experience.

• BLS and ACLS required.

• Active Georgia RN license or Compact RN license.

• EPIC charting experience required.

• Must be comfortable floating between campuses and multiple pediatric units.

Facility Requirements

• NICOTINE-FREE FACILITY: Candidates must comply with nicotine screening as part of the drug screening process.

• Flu vaccine required: No exemptions will be permitted.
