Key Responsibilities of the Travel RN - PICU
Provide critical care to pediatric patients in a PICU setting
Manage pediatric mechanical ventilation and high-flow nasal cannula
Handle arterial and central lines, and administer/titrate critical care medications
Utilize weight-based pharmacology and conduct age-specific assessments
Assist in advanced respiratory interventions, intubation, and hypodynamic monitoring
Requirements of the Travel RN - PICU
Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
Minimum of 1+ year of recent, direct pediatric critical care experience
Experience with pediatric mechanical ventilation and critical care medications
