Job Opportunity – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 23, 2026

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM; Every other holiday coverage required

Highlights:

• Provide specialized intensive care for pediatric patients up to 25 years of age
• Participate in epilepsy monitoring and advanced critical care interventions
• Work with EKG monitoring, inotropes, and ECG rhythm recognition
• Comprehensive orientation including safeMedicate and ECG assessments

Requirements:

• Minimum 12 months of permanent experience in PICU specialty required
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and PALS
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Proficiency with EKG monitoring and inotrope administration
• One professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director from the past 12 months required
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
