This role involves providing specialized care to pediatric patients in a state-of-the-art acute care setting. Key Responsibilities of the RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care- Provide one-on-one or one-on-two patient care in the PICU
- Utilize and manage RT equipment, including vents, CPAP, and BiPAP
- Recognize rhythm changes and implement associated interventions
- Coordinate with intensivists, APPs, and residents, who are in-house 24/7
- Work collaboratively with the charge nurse and other PICU staff
Requirements of the RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care- Active IL RN license or confirmation of application process initiated
- BLS and PALS (AHA) certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in PICU, consideration given for INT employment
