This role requires strong skills in managing critical care for pediatric patients and may occasionally involve care of adult patients within a supportive, acute care setting. Key Responsibilities of the RN - PICU- Provide direct care to pediatric patients in critical condition
- Administer sedation and vasoactive medications per protocols
- Monitor patient conditions using central monitoring systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including in-house pediatricians
- Assist with patient admissions and equipment preparation
Requirements of the RN - PICU- Valid RN license
- BLS and PALS certifications
- 2 years of PICU experience
- Comfortable with floating to related units as required
- COVID-19 vaccine: fully vaccinated
