This contract offers a competitive weekly blended rate of $3,840, based on four 12-hour rotating day and night shifts per week, providing an excellent opportunity to deliver compassionate, high-acuity care to pediatric patients in a nationally recognized medical facility.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel PICU Registered Nurse:
- Provide expert, family-centered care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status and responses to treatment in real time
- Administer medications and manage advanced life-support equipment and interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records and care documentation
- Support families with education, updates, and emotional reassurance during hospitalization
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control, patient safety, and hospital policy standards
Requirements of the Travel PICU Registered Nurse:
- Active RN license (West Virginia or compact state)
- BLS and PALS certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Pediatric ICU RN experience in an acute care hospital
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and pediatric assessment skills
