Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting for patients presenting with conditions including respiratory distress/failure, DKA, seizures, and pain management needs
- Administer and monitor drips, arterial lines, and central lines/CVP
- Perform and assist with moderate sedation procedures
- Rotate between day and night shifts, including weekend coverage, within a 6-week scheduling cycle
- Float to NICU and Pediatrics units as needed within scope of practice
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse license – valid Maryland or Compact license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of PICU nursing experience
- Current BCLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Ability to float to NICU and Pediatrics within scope of practice
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with arterial lines, central lines/CVP, and vasoactive drip management
- Comfort working rotating day and night shifts, including frequent weekend assignments
