Provide direct critical care nursing to pediatric patients in an intensive care setting with patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3
Float within scope of practice to all pediatric units as needed, including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU
Assess, monitor, and manage critically ill pediatric patients throughout the shift
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Participate in emergency response activities as required, including potential assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November)
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience required
Active South Carolina RN License or Multi-State/Compact RN License (South Carolina license must be active prior to start date)
Current BLS certification through American Heart Association (AHA)
Current PALS certification through American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation)
Experience with CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
