Travel Nurse RN - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Charlottesville, VA

Contract | Days (4x12 Hours, 7:00–19:00) | 36 or 48 hours per week | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Float across multiple pediatric units including PICU, NICU, Pediatric Med/Surg, Pediatric PACU, Pediatric ED Boarders, and Postpartum/Mother Baby
• Deliver age-appropriate, evidence-based nursing care to pediatric and neonatal patient populations
• Adapt clinical practice to the needs of each unit while maintaining patient safety and quality standards
• Participate in every other weekend and every other holiday rotation as required
• Complete specialty-specific orientation modules as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia (pending license accepted; must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required
• PICU and NICU experience required; must be comfortable across pediatric care settings
• Current BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification required (may be submitted as pending)
• Epic EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous Pediatric PACU experience highly preferred
• Prior experience in a pediatric float pool or NICU/PICU float pool setting
• BSN preferred
