Registered Nurse – PICU

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Rotating Shifts (Days & Nights, 3x12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
- Rotate between day and night shifts, including every other holiday and 3 weekends per six-week schedule
- Float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics units based on staffing needs
- Accurately document patient care and clinical information using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications- Active RN license in Virginia (pending license accepted at time of submission; must be in-hand by the Wednesday prior to start date)
- Current BLS certification (copy required at submission)
- Current PALS certification (copy required at submission)
- Epic EMR experience required
- Nursys verification required for submittal
- References required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Pediatric cardiac experience
- BSN degree preferred
