Key Responsibilities- Provide specialized nursing care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting for patients up to 25 years of age
- Perform and interpret EKG/ECG rhythm recognition and administer inotropes as required
- Support epilepsy monitoring and deliver specialized care across all applicable pediatric age groups
- Participate in holiday rotation, working at least every other holiday
- Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate with acceptable scores
Required Qualifications- Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in PICU or relevant specialty
- Minimum 18 months of recent Pediatric experience (travel experience accepted)
- Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission
- Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (no pending certifications accepted)
- No open license hits or open background case findings
- Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from assignments within the past 12 months
Preferred Experience / Skills- 18 months of specialty experience within a single location preferred
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Experience with epilepsy monitoring in a pediatric critical care environment
