Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Mesa, AZ
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Weekends and Holidays required per department guidelines
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to critically ill pediatric patients in a high-acuity intensive care unit setting
Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition, implementing appropriate nursing interventions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
Administer medications, manage complex equipment, and perform specialized PICU procedures
Adhere to facility dress code (navy scrubs) and float within department as required
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 24 months of PICU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
Active Arizona RN license, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions
Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
Active PALS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
Must not be a current Arizona resident (Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
PICU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
